Teatro dei luoghi
International festival
TEATRO DEI LUOGHI
19th EDITION
No harm to the world
In a time wounded by hatred, marked by conflict, inequality, and environmental crises, art takes on the responsibility to narrate, question, and shake.
No harm to the world is the promise of this Festival: to explore how theatre can be a civil action, a political gesture, and an act of love, without betraying its deepest vocation.
This is not just about peace, morality, or ecology in the abstract sense, but about a form of daily presence that chooses to listen rather than speak, to stay rather than flee, to understand rather than judge, to mend rather than tear.
Each performance, each chosen location is a threshold: between past and present, between the visible and the invisible, between the individual and the community.
Living without harming is a civil act, a gentle step through the territories of the human, a deep listening to people and places — spaces that hold invisible traces of the relationship between life, death, nature, sacredness, and collective identity.
An invitation to pause, listen, remember — and maybe even heal.
A crossing that acknowledges delicacy, respect, and fragility as the essence of existence, because no passage is neutral… there are no innocent crossings.
If we learn to cross carefully, we can do so leaving behind not scars, but seeds.
Perhaps the future begins precisely like this: with a careful step, through a threshold crossed with respect.
